近二十年来中国的美国研究

American Studies in China During the Past Twenty Years

中美建交四十余年来,美国研究已逐渐成长为中国社会科学领域的一门显学。以十年左右为一个阶段,可大致将四十余年来中国的美国研究划分为四个阶段。总体而言,前两个阶段的研究取得了一批奠基性成果;后两个阶段的研究则在深度和广度上均得到了持续拓展,涌现了一批高质量成果。文章以近二十年来中国的美国研究为重点,对其发展状况进行简要梳理,分析存在的主要不足,并对未来发展趋势提出几点思考。

Ever since China-U.S.diplomatic relations were established in 1979,American studies have been a hot academic field in Chinese social science studies.These forty-year American studies in China could be categorized into four roughly ten-year phases.The former two phases could be seen as the founding era with some founding works completed.The latter two phases witnessed rapid growth in the number of researchers,academic institutions and academic issues.During the past twenty years,a number of high-quality works were published.Based on Chinese scholars’American studies during the past twenty years,this paper briefly reviews the development situation,analyzes the main shortcomings,and presents some thoughts on the future development.
