摘要
自18世纪40年代传记批评始,西方乔纳森·斯威夫特研究已近300年的历史,其演变经历了“传记评述”“作品整编”“专题研究”和“综合研究”四类范式。20世纪70年代以降,各种理论对文本的“穿透式”介入是西方斯学研究的主要特征,相应地催生了“传记批评”“讽刺修辞”“政治身份”和“小说研究”四大范式。据此,西方学界塑造了文本评读的逻辑框架。21世纪以来,西方学界发展出思想史视域下的作品细读路径,虽不乏阐释误区,但仍旧产出了一批重要成果。通过梳理西方斯学研究发展脉络,辨识其成就与不足,可为国内斯学研究的纵深发展提供借鉴。
Derived from the biographic studies in the 1740s,Western Swift study is approaching its 300th anniversary.Generally speaking,after having originated from the critical review of early biographies and then works compilation,Western Swift study gradually develops from thematic study to comprehensive study.In the 1970s,infiltrating research of various theories in different texts marked the characteristics of contemporary Western Swift study.And by construing four main categories,namely,biographic study,rhetoric study,political identity study and novel study,the aforementioned trend molded the pre-structure of cultural analyzing logic.Recently,while underlining the textual close-reading,Western Swift study is gaining an intellectual perspective.With some misinterpretations,still,this new method is making remarkable achievements.It’ll be significant and beneficial to Chinese Swift study,if we review Western Swift study by pointing out its problems and showing the changing trends.
