新媒体时代下禅宗的现代传播和发展——以江西曹山宝积寺为例

The Modern Communication and Development of Zen in New Media Era—A Case Study of Caoshan Baoji Temple in Jiangxi Province

新媒体语境在给我国优秀传统文化带来发展契机的同时也带来了许多挑战。禅宗是我国传统文化的重要组成部分,如何合理有效地运用新媒体,是禅宗现代发展的一个重要问题。以曹洞宗祖庭江西曹山宝积寺的新媒体传播为例,曹山寺以“文禅并重”理念为依据,把新媒体作为了一种传播文化的手段,对音乐、漫画、影视、文学等多种艺术形态进行了创造性运用。同时,曹山寺立足于自身思想内核、呼应社会需要,运用新媒体平台阐释了禅宗“梵我一如”的世界观和“平常自在”的人生观等,充分体现了禅宗悲智双运、出世入世的思想情怀,有效促进了传统文化的创造性发展。

The context of new media brings about multiple challenges as well as opportunities for the development of traditional Chinese culture.As an integral part of the traditional Chinese culture,Zen is facing a key problem in making use of the new media reasonably and effectively to boost its modern development.The new media communication of Caoshan Baoji Temple in Jiangxi Province is taken as a case study in which Caoshan Temple uses the new media as a means to disseminate culture with the idea of“laying equal stress on culture and Zen”.As a result,the artistic forms such as music,comics,film and television and literature are creatively used.Meanwhile,based on its own core thoughts and echoed the social needs,the Caoshan Temple clarifies its world view of“brahma-atma-aikya”(the unification of the secular and spiritual properties of a person)and life view of“being at peace and at ease”via the new media,so that the ideas of“equal and mutual use of great grief and great wisdom”and“transcendental and mundane”of Zen are fully manifested.Thereby,the traditional culture of Zen is effectively promoted in a creative way.
