Review and Reflection on Modern Literature Research in the Past Century:Comments on General History of Modern Chinese Literature Research

百年回眸,重返现代文学研究的历史场域,站在更高的历史基点上,多侧面、多层次还原历史形貌,梳理现代文学研究的面貌与脉络,并借鉴“知识考古学”的研究方法,深入元气淋漓的文学样态,结合时代语境、社会气象、个体精神,理解现代文学及其活动背景的复杂性与特殊性,透视现代文学研究错综迂回的多层肌理,认清现代文学研究本体的面目,是中国现代文学研究自身发展和学科建设之需要。文章结合《中国现代文学研究通史》,通过分析其成书特点、写作主旨及意涵,检阅与反思中国现代文学研究百年来不断丰富深入的研究实践与曲折历程。

It is necessary to return to the past 100 years history of modern literature research, and restore it from multiple aspects and levels with a view of higher historical basis to comb modern literature research with the research method of"knowledge archaeology". We can penetrate into the vigorous literary pattern, and understand the complexity and particularity of modern literature and its activity background in combination with the context of the times, social climate and individual spirit. For the development of modern literature research and discipline construction, it is necessary to see through the complicated texture of modern literature research, even recognize the essence of modern literature research. Based on General History of Modern Chinese Literature Research which collates and evaluates the theoretical direction, this paper reviews and reflects on the research practice and tortuous process of modern Chinese literature research in the past 100 years by analyzing its characteristics, writing themes and implications.
