Influence of College Learner Characteristics on Learning Performance in the Blended Learning

摘要 学习者特征是影响混合学习的重要因素。这就要求我们对学习者特征开展研究,探究其对混合学习效果的影响,从而促进教师改善教学策略和学习者有效学习。本研究以某大学现代教育技术混合课程为依托,对参加该课程学习的1257名学习者进行调查,并采用多元线性回归分析方法,系统探究人口学特征、认知、情感、意志、行为等因素(共14个变量)对混合学习效果的影响。研究发现,学习行为、学科背景、学习动机、学习自我效能感、计算机水平、学习态度、性别等七个因素(按影响大小排序)共同显著影响混合学习效果,模型拟合R 2达0.619,其他因素对混合学习效果无显著影响。学习者特征对混合学习效果的影响是个开放的复杂系统,本研究建议采用辩证、整体、开放、发展、层次的观点看待学习者特征对混合学习效果的影响。 With the deep integration of information technology and education and teaching,“Internet+Education”is building a new instructional form.For this reason,China has actively implemented the“Two Thousand Program”.It was planned to build a batch of first-class blended courses at the national,provincial,and school levels.Blended learning has become one of the current research hotspots and directions.Learner characteristics are important factors affecting blended learning.It is important to explore the impact of the characteristics of college students on the performance of blended learning.It is of great significance to promote the sustainable and healthy development of blended courses.The purpose of this paper is to explore the influence of demography,cognition,emotion,volition,and behavior factors(14 variables)on the performance of blended learning from a systematic perspective.This study took 1257 learners who participated in the blended course of“Modern Educational Technology”in a normal university as the research object.It used multiple linear regression analysis to explore the impact of learner characteristics on the performance of blended learning.The main research conclusions are as follows:The learning performance is affected by learning behavior,subject background,learning motivation,learning self-efficacy,computer ability,learning attitude and gender.The R 2 of model fitting reaches 0.619.Other factors have no significant influence on the performance of blended learning.The influence of learner characteristics on blended learning is open and complex.We should treat the influence of learner characteristics on blended learning from a dialectical,holistic,open,developmental,and hierarchical point of view.
