Alain Peyraube’s Accomplishments in His Historical Chinese Grammar Study

阿兰·贝罗贝是法国著名的语言学家。在汉语语法学史、汉语历史语法研究的理论与实践以及汉语方言及语言接触等研究领域,成果卓著。贝罗贝的研究立足语言事实,融汇中西文化,为汉语历时语法研究创立了一套极具系统性的方法论和分析框架。他的理论系统兼及历史分期和语言对比,不仅为普通语言学的研究增加了汉语素材,还补充和修正了历史语言学的方法论和基础理论。

As a famous French linguist,Alain Peyraube has made outstanding achievements in his study on the history of Chinese grammar,theory and practice of Chinese grammar,as well as on Chinese dialects and language contacts.On the basis of language facts and East-West cultural integration,Peyraube established a systematic methodology and analytical framework for diachronic Chinese grammar.Combining historical stages and linguistic comparison,his theoretical system not only adds Chinese materials to general linguistic study,but also supplements historical linguistic methodology and basic principles.
