摘要
曹禺的人生可用辉煌一词来称谓,尽管也有过坎坷波折。但历经近百年的风雨洗礼,曹禺仍被公认是中国现代戏剧史上最顶级的戏剧家。但是,曹禺却说"请—‘把我的苦闷写出来’"。曹禺的"苦闷",主要来源于"曹评界"不能聆听曹禺的倾诉,盖缘于双方不在一个对话平台上,一方只认同戏剧创作的政治革命与社会批判的功能,一方则只关注戏剧艺术自身的本性。因此,"重读"曹禺,"重演"曹剧,解开他身上种种谜团,是时代的需要,是时代的呼唤。曹禺的戏剧创作是一份弥足珍贵的、不可复制的财产,我们应真正地继承并发扬光大,使其成为人类世代共享的文化构成。
Although there were ups and downs,Cao Yu’s life could be described by the word“glorious”.However,after fifty years of trials and tribulations,Cao Yu is still recognized as one of the top dramatists in the history of modern Chinese drama.Still,Cao Yu said,“please write out my anguish.’”.Cao Yu’s“anguish”mainly stems from his critique circle’s inability to understand his confession,which is due to the fact that both sides are not on the same level of conversation.One side only recognizes the function of political revolution and social criticism of drama,while the other only pays attention to the nature of drama as an art itself.Therefore,it is the need of the time to“re-reading”Cao Yu and“re-performing”Cao’s plays and solve all kinds of mysteries in him.It is the calling of the time.Cao Yu’s play writing is a precious and unrepeatable property.We should really inherit and carry forward it to make it a cultural component shared by generations of human beings.
