重识蘩漪——兼论《雷雨》是怎样写成的

Rethinking on the Character Fanyi in Thunderstorm

《雷雨》中的蘩漪是一个非理性、非道德的人物形象。这是因为《雷雨》的构思是一部兄妹乱伦,最终导致悲剧的戏。蘩漪原本是为了情节运转而设置的一个功能性人物,为了完成兄妹乱伦的暴露,蘩漪必须是一个不可理喻、执拗疯狂的性格。但这样一个蘩漪却救了《雷雨》。因为在历史的视野中,《雷雨》被当作一部反封建的社会剧,而剧中的蘩漪被当作了反封建的代表。其实,蘩漪是一个任由生命燃烧的唯美主义形象。

Fanyi in Thunderstorm is an irrational and immoral character,who is consistent with the plot of the play concerning sibling incest,which eventually leads to tragedy.Fanyi was originally a functional character set up for the development of the plot.In order to expose the incest,Fanyi must has an unreasonable,crabby and crazy character.Actually,such a character as Fan Yi saved Thunderstorm.In its historical context,Thunderstorm is regarded as a play about social problems and against feudalism.Thus,Fanyi in the play is taken as the representative character who is fighting against feudalism in her family.In fact,Fanyi is like the character in the works of aestheticism,who just lets her life burning freely.
