A Closer Look at Aesthetics of Jiading Bamboo Carving

明代正德、嘉靖年间,嘉定人朱鹤利用竹根雕制文房用具,中国的文人竹刻正式登场,嘉定派亦从此诞生。嘉定竹刻是中国竹刻艺术的代表,有着卓越的艺术成就、系统的工艺体系和完整而清晰的传承脉络。从十六世纪初明代正德、嘉靖年间的朱鹤开始直到今天的四百余年中,嘉定竹刻名家辈出、精品迭现。
