试论中国先秦时期的边疆观

A Preliminary Study of the Concept of Borderland in the Pre-Qin Period

边疆观是中国疆域和边疆研究的重要理论基础,本文在尝试界定边疆观概念的基础上,阐述了先秦边疆观的思想基础、边疆之辨、边疆治理与边疆管理机构雏形,分析了先秦中国边疆观的哲学内涵、礼法制的秩序追求、宗法制的本质和拟宗法化的建构等基本特点,探讨了先秦边疆观对中国边疆治理思想和政策的深远影响。

The concept of borderland is an important theoretical cornerstone of the studies of China’s territory and borderland.On the basis of giving a tentative definition of the concept of borderland,this paper expounds the ideological basis of this concept,controversies over it,borderland governance and the early governance institutions in the Pre-Qin Period.The paper also discusses its philosophic connotations,and its basic characteristics such as the pursuit of order in feudal ethics and rites,the nature of the patriarchal clan system and the construction of the pseudo-patriarchal clan system.The paper finally explores the far-reaching influence of the concept of borderland of the Pre-Qin Period on the thoughts and policies of China’s borderland governance.
