As an outstanding representative of“the second generation of directors”,Cai Chusheng's films have profoundly revealed the social contradictions in modern China with distinctive artistic features,which have had a profound impact on the history of Chinese film and even the world film history.This paper tries to explore the influence of Cai Chusheng's unique and independent artistic practice on the field of art from the perspective of Chinese classical aesthetics.The Song of The Fishermen is an important work in Cai Chusheng's creative career.The film uses family as the entry point of creation,and embodies the traditional artistic thinking of Confucian Aesthetics in concise expression.It integrates ordinary family ethics criticism into more profound social reality criticism.There is no lack of warmth and understanding in interrogation.The plot ethics is skillfully integrated into national culture in the history of Chinese film,the expression of a strong color.
