摘要
一个结构合理、内容丰富、管理规范的专业拓展选修课程体系是医学院校专业课程设置中不可或缺的一部分。本项目主要围绕中国本科医学教育标准临床医学专业毕业生应达到的科学和学术领域、临床能力领域、健康与社会领域及职业素养领域等方面的要求,利用中外合作办学的优势特色,借鉴国外医学院校的经验,在国内首次通过全新课程体系、教学内容、教学模式和教学管理等方面的改革,构建一个形式多样,能够满足不同阶段医学生的知识水平和兴趣需求的专业选修拓展课程体系。学生对该课程体系接受度良好,且在自主学习、研究总结、创新发展的能力和职业素养等方面得到了提升和拓展。同时充分发挥学科优势和特色,弥补主干课程的不足,引导和提高学生对国家紧缺专业学科的学习兴趣,为人才培养起到一定的作用。
A well-structured and regulated diverse electives curriculum system is an integral part of the medical curriculum.Drawing from the experiences of North-American medical schools,a diversified and individualized electives curriculum system with a focus on two of the requirements in undergraduate medical education:scientific research abilities and clinical competencies was established at our medical school.Through reforms on the curriculum design,curricular content,delivery methods and teaching administration,the electives system transitions from the traditional classroom-teaching to individualized teaching that integrates theory with practice and is centered by students’interests.The electives system meets students’demands for exploring their interests and is matched to their knowledge levels at different stages.It is shown in the teaching evaluation and student feed-back questionnaires that the electives system is well received among the students.Self-learning skills,research and innovation abilities are further developed in students.In the meantime,giving full play to the advantages and features of clinical medicine,the electives system promotes medical education with clinical experiences and keeps the students at the frontier of science,informs them of the latest scientific research results and research focuses.It is a supplement to the core curriculum and orients the students towards the specialties that is in demand nationwide and thus fosters more medical talents in specific needs.
