In the paper,the importance of stability of heating value for operation of CCPP unit is introduced.The feasibility and reliability of operation for CCPP unit with low heating value are explored through optimizing the unit protection,which is beneficial to the treatment of defects for coking coal system of CCPP unit without shut down so that the economic and social benefits of operation for CCPP unit are improved.
