新时代高校中层干部队伍能力提升是建设世界一流大学和一流学科的重要保障,是实现高等教育现代化的必然要求。作为高校改革发展的中坚力量,中层干部要具备初心如磐的政治力、与时俱进的学习力、统筹谋划的执行力和民本情怀的亲和力。但当前部分中层干部在理想信念、担当作为、以人为本等方面与新时代高校对中层干部能力的要求还存在一定差距。提升高校中层干部队伍能力,要切实抓好初心教育、政治建设、实践锻炼、考核评价,不断加强干部思想淬炼、政治锤炼、实践锻炼和日常修炼。

In the new era,capacity improvement of university middle-level cadres is a significant guarantee for the construction of world-class universities and disciplines,as well as an essential requirement to realize the modernization of higher education.Middlelevel cadres,as an important force of the reform and development of Universities,should be equipped with the firm political power,the learning power of advancing with the times,the execution power of overall planning and the affinity of people-oriented sensitivity.However,there is a relatively long way to go for some university middle-level cadres to achieve the new era requirements in terms of ideals and faith,responsibilities and achievements,the people-oriented spirit,etc.To strengthen the capacity-building of university middlelevel cadres,we should make great efforts in the education of initial ideals,the construction of political awareness,the practical commitment and the assessment of performances,so as to strengthen the ideological,political and practical education and routine cultivation.
