Transportation Infrastructure,High Quality Economic Development and Haze Pollution

基于270个地级市的面板数据,采用广义最小二乘法探究了全国及各城市交通基础设施、经济高质量发展和雾霾污染之间的关系。研究发现交通基础设施对经济发展质量的影响为正,其中:高速铁路在东部影响效应最为明显,公路建设在西部影响效应最为明显,服务情况在东部地区影响效应最大。经济发展质量和雾霾污染之间的关系与传统环境库兹涅次曲线形状相同,也呈现倒U型。交通基础设施与经济发展质量对雾霾污染的协同影响显著为正,其作用效果在东部、中部、西部间逐级递减。因此,加快完善交通基础设施,助推经济高质量发展和环境高水平保护,可以为各城市的转型发展提供强力支撑。

Based on the panel data of 270 prefecture level cities,this paper uses the generalized least squares method for empirical regression to explore the relationship between national and regional transportation infrastructure,high-quality economic development and haze pollution.The results show that the impact of transportation infrastructure on the quality of economic development is positive,among which the effect of high-speed railway in the eastern region is the most obvious,the effect of highway construction in the western region is the most obvious,and the effect of service condition is the largest in the eastern region.The relationship between the quality of economic development and haze pollution has the same shape as the traditional EKC curve,and also shows an inverted U shape.The interaction between transportation infrastructure and economic development quality has a positive correlation with haze pollution,and its effect decreases gradually from the eastern,central and western regions.Therefore,speeding up the improvement of transportation infrastructure,boosting high-quality economic development and high level environmental protection can provide strong support for the transformation and development of cities.
