Experience by Professor HUANG Feng on treating chronic hepatitis B through syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine was summarized.He holds that chronic hepatitis B is often in a mixed state of deficiency and excess,that is,insufficiency of healthy qi causes deficiency,while excess refers to the evil of dampness,heat,blood stasis,and toxin.He emphasizes clearing heat,detoxifying and resolving dampness to protect the liver and reduce enzymes,promoting blood circulation,resolving blood stasis and dredging collateral to resist fibrosis,and invigorating kidney,soothing liver and invigorating spleen to enhance immunity.This method has achieved good clinical effects.There is one proved case attached.
