Launched in China in 2019,Green Book, the feature film with road-movie elements,is undoubtedly one of the most eye-catching and highly-praised American films of the year. The film reveals the frictions and conflicts between the individuals and the groups in different cultural backgrounds.Under the black-and-white cultural conflicts are the dilemma and remodeling of Shirley and Tony's cultural identity. The relatively restrained artistic techniques and the warm narrative style endow Green Book with reflective significance that goes much beyond grief and wrath, and the reflections on cultural identity are presented in dislocation and reversal, and pursuit and progress.
