The form and function of“One M+X over One M”show a grammar character of classic formation.In syntax,X is more adjective,and one M’s referring function is highlighting.In semantics,there are two different constructions,progressive comparison and non-progressive reference,with their own internal evolution rule.In pragmatics,sense is subjective and highlighting,and form is compact.
