《篡改的命》书写了20世纪末期乡村失语的种种影像。本文透过小说的症候,解读文本表层没有直观呈现的深层思想主旨,挖掘作品的深层意蕴,分析小说中谷里村村民对城市的畸形向往和对权力的畏惧,以及在金钱和权力侵蚀下的道德迷失,剖析乡村在强势都市话语前的被动与难于自述。东西笔下失语的乡村既是对城市化进程吞噬乡村美好人性和破坏传统道德伦理的批判,也是对乡村现代化进程究竟要走向何方的深刻反思。

Tampered Life has written a variety of images of rural aphasia in the late 20th century.The research interpreting the surface meaning of the text that could not bearing the visual rendering deep thoughts through the symptoms of the novel.It tends to dig up the deep connotation of novel and analysis of the expectation and fear of villagers who lived in GuLi village.It reveal their malformation expectation of being a citizen in big city,their fear of power,their miss morality lost under the erosion money and power.It analyze passive and speech⁃less situation that country is facing before the strong urban discourse.In the author's(Dongxi)works,the rural aphasia is not only a criti⁃cism of the urbanization process which devours the beautiful humanity and destroys the traditional morality and ethics,but also a profound reflection on the direction of the rural modernization process.
