A new powder X-ray diffraction(XRD)package,TopMINI,was developed in this work.This package was written with Visual Basic 6.0 language and ran under MS WindowsXP/Win7/Win10 operation system.It contains three main modules:the data collection module,the qualitative analysis module,and the quantitative analysis module.The TopMINI could read the ICDD PDF2.0 data file with the SQLite database.Based on the analysis results of some sets of simulation data and a set of experimental data,it shows that the TopMINI package is accurate and quite reliable.In the next step,the TopMINI package will be used as the main control program in a new type of powder X-ray diffractometry.
