地学相关专业“科技论文写作”教学模式探究

Exploration on the Teaching Model in Academic Writing Course of Geology-related Majors

“科技论文写作”是专业英语教学的重要组成部分,注重科研能力和外语写作能力培养。随着地质类相关专业对英文科技论文发表的需求增长,“科技论文写作”课程的重要性得到了广泛认可与加强。文章针对该专业学生出现的问题,授课内容上增加英文内容比例,教学模式上突出写作技能训练,考核方式上多样化考核标准,开设学期相对提前,多方面的探索将为学生从事地学科研工作奠定良好基础。

Academic Writing is an important part of professional English teaching,focusing on the training of scientific research ability and foreign language writing ability.As the need for the publication of English scientific papers in geology-related majors grows,the importance of this course has been widely recognized and strengthened.Aiming at the problems presented by the students of geological majors,we increased the proportion of English materials in the teaching contents,focused on the training of writing techniques,adopted diversified assessment standards in the examination methods,and offered this course earlier,hoping to lay a solid foundation for students to engage in geoscience research in the future.
