The Party and the State have attached great importance to the construction of counselors in higher vocational colleges.College counselors are the backbone of ideological and political education and the organizers,the implementers and the guides of ideological and political education and management of college students.College counselors must adhere to the concept of"building morality and cultivating talents"and cultural self-confidence.They must be able to teach ideological and political courses,do psychological counseling,keep up with the pace of the development of the Internet age,constantly innovate working methods,and develop towards a more specialized and more professional direction under the guidance of ideological and political education.
