The Research on Tragic Consciousness in the Reunion of Two Sisters Named Wang Cuiqiao and Wang Cuiyun——Focusing on the Conflict between Human and Environment

《双翠圆》是清代戏曲家夏秉衡的代表作品。他通过人性与环境的冲突来塑造人物形象,呈现卓越的创作意识。这主要体现在三方面:一是通过环境约束王观夫妻二人的重男轻女观念,呈现人生而不自由的困境;二是通过王观夫妻二人注重女儿的生命特征并解决问题,却因外在环境的束缚未能如愿,展现人生的各种无奈困境;三是通过外界环境与善良人性冲突塑造人物形象,呈现王翠翘的各种无奈困境。

The reunion of two sisters named Wang Cuiqiao and Wang Cuiyun is the representative work by Xia Bingheng,a dramatist in Qing Dynasty.He presented the outstanding creative consciousness because he shaped the image of the characters through the conflict between human nature and environment.This is mainly reflected in the following three aspects:the first is to present the dilemma of life but not freedom through environment restraining the concept of Wang Guan and his wife’s preference for boys over girls.The second is that Wang Guan and his wife paid attention to their daughters’life characteristics and solved the problems,but they failed to do so due to the constraints of various external environments,showing all kinds of helpless dilemmas in life.The third is that the work presents all kinds of helpless predicament in her life through the conflict between the external environment and good human nature to shape the image of Wang Cuiqiao.
