This paper analyzes Ruskin′s thought on artistic socialism,focusing on the background of his artistic socialism and discussing the content of his artistic socialism from multiple dimensions,which covers the Victorian era when Raskin lived more than 100 years ago and the historical materials obtained in the design art movement of this period.It analyzes how Ruskin′s artistic socialism thought and its art education practice influence and promote the development of art design.Besides,the dissemination of artistic socialism thought will also provide inspiration for the development of art design in contemporary society.
