随着民族文化多元化的发展,我国越来越重视少数民族文化,鲁迅曾说“民族的就是世界的”,强调本民族文化的重要性。在少数民族中,苗族的服饰非常绚丽多彩,其本身有着非常悠久的历史,并承载着苗族同胞所经历的不同磨难。很多史学家戏称苗族服饰是身上的史书。苗族服饰的发展与文化传承,一直以来都面临着非常巨大的挑战,针对苗族服饰纹样以及苗族文化符号进行简要分析,将其应用在服饰设计中,可以使苗族文化与符号在当前社会中积极不断地向前发展,让越来越多的人认识到苗族文化所具有的独特魅力,并且将其发扬光大。

With the development of cultural diversities,more and more importance has been attached to the ethnic minority cultures in our country.Lu Xu once said:“What is national is universal”,which emphasizes the importance of national cultures.Among the minority nationalities,the clothes of the Miao nationality are very bright and colourful,which have a very long history and carry the hardship of the Miao people.Many historians jokingly call the clothes of the Miao nationality historical books worn by the Miao people.The development and cultural inheritance of the Miao clothes has always been faced with tremendous challenge.Analyzing the decorative patterns and cultural symbols on the Maio clothes and applying them in clothes design can push the active and continuous development of the Miao culture and its cultural symbols and make more and more people recognize the unique charm of the Miao clothes and bring it to a greater height of development.
