Objective To observe the efficacy of recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide in the treatment of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction in elderly patients. Methods Select 70 elderly patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction(HFrEF)admitted to the hospital from June 2019 to June 2020 as the research objects, and randomly divide them into a control group and an observation group with 35 cases in each. The control group was given oxygen, diuretics and vasodilators and other anti-heart failure treatments. The research was given recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide in addition to basic treatment. After one week of treatment, the two groups were observed to observe the indicators of cardiac function, serum NT-proBNP,left ventricular ejection fraction. Results The improvement of cardiac function, serum NT-proBNP,left ventricular ejection fraction of the two groups were improved compared with before treatment, the improvement of cardiac function, serum NT-proBNP,left indexes such as ventricular ejection fraction of research group were better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide has a very good effect in the treatment of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction in elderly patients.
