摘要 作为20世纪初中国艺术走向西方公众的文化事件,伦敦艺展通常被定义为中西方文化交流的里程碑,但却忽视了展览在艺术史叙事体系的作用。展览筹备过程中,中英学者在展品甄选和展陈方式上的争议体现了学术思维、方法理论、研究范畴的差异性。随着学术交流的日益频繁,中西方学者之间的距离在逐渐弥合,全球合作正成为主要趋势。 The International Exhibition of Chinese Art in London is usually defined as a cultural exchange milestone between China and the west.However,this exhibition also can serve as an art historical narrative to reflect the discipline of Chinese art history in the early 20th Century.During the preparation process,disputes between Chinese and western scholars on Chinese art regarding artwork selection and exhibition design show the differences in academic thinking,methodology,as well as theresearch scope of Chinese art.In recent years,the distinction between east and west scholars on Chinese art has been replaced with communication and cooperation.Although the differences in language,readership,and academic environment certainly exist,mutual learning has become the dominant trend in the field.
