Since the 1970s,the works of the famous writer Sanmao in Taiwan have been well received throughout the whole Chinese world.They still remain artistically charming nowadays.After a close reading of Sanmao’s works,the writer of the paper holds that the enduring charm of Sanmao’s works is due to her astounding legendary stories;the affecting power of brotherhood implied in her works;the pure and sincere love between Sanmao and Hexi carrying modern people’s idealistic expectation to beautiful love.
