Cultural Symbols and Character Representation: Analyzing the Group Characters of Xinhua People from Meishan Food

通过文化人类学的考察,发现梅山饮食文化有着丰富的文化内涵和鲜明的象征意蕴,其充满辛辣味、山野味、水香味的菜品早已内化为新化人的群体性格,这些群体性格特征水乳交融,辛辣中蕴含着野蛮,山野中流动水脉,水韵中跳跃着辛辣。

By observing cultural anthropology, we found that Meishan cooking culture has rich cultural connotations and distinctive symbolic meanings. Meishan dishes are full of spicy, game venison, and are related to water, which are internalized into the group characters of Xinhua people. These group characters are blended with each other.
