信息觅食视域下图书馆网站优化研究

Study on the Optimization of Library Websites Under the View Horizon of Information Foraging

图书馆网站是图书馆提供网上服务的门户,在信息觅食理论的支持下,开展图书馆网站建设研究具有很强的现实意义和指导作用。本文介绍了信息觅食理论提出的背景及在图书馆网站建设中的应用,提出图书馆可以通过两种方式帮助图书馆网站用户最大程度地提高有价值的信息获取率。在图书馆网站建设研究综述的基础上,本文从网站内容、网页设计和开放程度3个方面分析了图书馆网站建设方面存在的问题,提出了信息觅食理论思想指导下图书馆网站的优化策略:一是丰富网页内容,二是优化网页设计,三是提高开放程度。

The library website is the portal for the library to provide online services.With the support of the information foraging theory,the development of library website construction research has a strong practical significance and guiding role.This article introduces the background of the information foraging theory and its application in the construction of library websites,and proposes that the library can help library website users to maximize the acquisition rate of valuable information in two ways.On the basis of the research summary of library website construction,this article analyzes the problems existing in library website construction from three aspects of website content,web design and openness,and proposes the optimization strategy of library website under the guidance of information foraging theory:One is to enrich web content,the second is to optimize web design,and the third is to increase openness.
