何以“根本”及“统领”——从“党的政治建设”本质内涵谈起

A Fundamental Requirement and Overarching Principle:On the Essence of Enhancing the Party’s Political Building

只有从理论上理清"党的政治建设"范畴的本质内涵,才能在逻辑上说清楚其何以居于"根本""统领""首位"地位,也才能准确把握党的政治建设这一创新思想体系的精神实质、逻辑结构和实践要求。从目标要求角度看,我们党的政治建设就是直接用以维护、保持党始终是代表人民根本利益的马克思主义先进政党这个"政治本质",以及维护、巩固党对国家全面领导权这个"政治地位"两个层次的建设活动;贯通、连接该两层次、因而成为首要和核心任务的是全党要坚决做到"两个维护"。

Only by grasping the essential implications of the Party’s political building in theory,can we clarify why it is a“fundamental”requirement,an“overarching”principle and the“top priority”for Party building,and grasp the essence,logic and practical requirement of this creative thinking.The Party’s political building aims to uphold and enhance the“political nature”of the Party as an advanced Marxist party that always represents the fundamental interests of the people at one level,and to uphold and enhance the“political status”of overall Party leadership over the state at another level.The former provides the foundation and rationale for the latter;and the latter provides support and guarantee for the former.The requirement that every Party member should resolutely uphold General Secretary Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole,and resolutely uphold the Party Central Committee’s authority and its centralized,unified leadership is the pivot point that goes through and links up two endeavors at the above two levels,and hence the primary and core task of the Party’s political building.
