Thinking on Plant and the Rise of Plant in Western Philosophy

面对现代性问题,迈克尔·马尔德提出将哲学植物作为西方哲学进一步发展的新路径。哲学植物以从植物本身汲取方法为思维框架,与植物哲学有着本质区别。本文首先介绍了哲学植物的兴起背景及相关概念,然后研究了哲学植物与植物哲学的不同,并梳理了西方哲学的植物面貌,最后进行了中西哲学植物的对比分析,结果发现中国哲学对于植物有其独特观照,但植物背景性的存在与西方哲学是所差不大的,且缺少对哲学植物的洞见与发微。

Faced with the issue of modernity,Michael Marder proposed to take philosophical plant as a new path for the further development of Western philosophy.The philosophical plant is based on the method of deriving from the plant itself,which is essentially different from plant philosophy.This paper firstly introduces the background of the rise of philosophical plant and related concepts,then studies the differences between philosophical plant and plant philosophy,and combs the appearance of plant in Western philosophy,finally conducts a comparative analysis of Chinese and Western philosophical plant.It turns out that Chinese philosophy has unique care to plant,but the background of plant is not much different from Western philosophy,at the same time,it lacks insights and opinions of philosophical plant.
