Basketball is a collection of athletics,fitness,entertainment and educational,the skills of basketball tactics,the confrontational and ornamental value of basketball games and the uncertainty of the match result are all important factors that attracting students attention,especially under the influence of some star,basketball has become a favorite sport for primary and secondary school students,more and more students begin to take the initiative to learn some basketball skills and start basketball training.In physical education curriculum reform,basketball becomes one of the important project of primary and secondary school sports teaching,which puts forward new requirements for the selection of basketball teaching content and methods.Starting from the current situation of basketball teaching in primary and secondary school and the selection basis of contents and methods,the paper expounds the selection strategies of basketball teaching contents and methods from the three stages of primary,middle and high school respectively,hoping to improve the level and efficiency of basketball teaching.
