《老子》第28、29章解读

Interpretation of Chapters 28 and 29 of Lao Zi

《老子》第28章旧解多比照《庄子》相关引文,认为其中有窜入文字。现在据出土的简帛本《庄子》来看,恐怕并非如此。不过对于此章的解读,仍然存在一些疑义,本文对此进行了探讨,提出新的解释。然而在北大汉简《老子》中,传统属于28章的“大制不割”一语,却被置于第29章之首,为此不得不结合第29章全文来讨论此语归属哪一章。经仔细讨论,本文为“大制不割”与第28章上文相合,与第29章下文并不契合,仍以置于第28章合适。

It's believed that characters were inserted in the original interpretation of Chapter 28 of Lao Zi by reference to Zhuang Zi.According to the excavated bamboo slip and silk manuscript of Zhuang Zi,it may not be true.There are still some doubts for the interpretation of this chapter.This paper discusses those doubts and gives new interpretation.In the bamboo slip of Han Dynasty of Zhuang Zi at Peking University,however,the term"complete system favorable for the public"traditionally included in Chapter 28 appears at the beginning of Chapter 29.Consequently,this paper has to discuss which chapter is more appropriate for such a term,considering the full text of Chapter 29.Upon careful discussion,this paper indicates that the term"complete system favorable for the public"is consistent with Chapter 28 and inconsistent with Chapter 29 and thus it's appropriate to include it in Chapter 28.
