应用太阳法实现CTL-713C型天气雷达天线波束指向自动定标

Automatic Calibration of Antenna Beam Pointing in CTL-713C Weather Radar Using Solar Method

针对CTL-713C型天气雷达传统的天线波束指向定标方法中存在的技术落后、操作烦琐、自动化水平低等问题,提出应用更为先进的太阳法进行雷达天线波束指向定标。在分析利用太阳辐射能量标校该型雷达可行性的基础上,论述了结合经纬度信息、赤纬角和时角的太阳位置算法,介绍了太阳法标定软件的设计原理、实现方法、测试应用情况及使用中的注意事项。从测试应用效果来看,定标误差满足功能规格需求书规定的技术指标要求,且与其他定标方法比对结果的一致性得到了验证。该项研究实现了雷达天线波束指向定标方法由手动向自动的转变,软件算法准确度高,界面设计合理,操作简便,能够满足在雷达定标业务中应用的要求。

To address the following problems in the traditional antenna beam pointing calibration method of the CTL-713C weather radar,including backward technology,complicated operation,and low automation level,a more advanced solar method was developed.Firstly,the feasibility of using solar radiation energy to calibrate the radar was analyzed.Secondly,the sun location algorithm based on latitude and longitude,declination angle,and hour angle was discussed.Thirdly,the design principle,realization method,test application,and issues that need attention in the use of the solar method calibration software were introduced.From the result of software testing and application,the calibration error satisfied the technical requirements specified in the functional specification requirements,and the consistency in the comparison results with other calibration methods was well verified.The calculation for radar antenna beam pointing is transformed successfully from manual to automatic manner.The software algorithm show high accuracy,reasonable interface design and simple operation,and the application requirements in radar calibration business could be meet.
