On Gentlemen’s Friendship and Harmonious Interpersonal Relations in College Students’Dormitories

当前高校学生宿舍人际关系面临体制上“管理真空”、生源上“个性独立”、关系上的“错综复杂”的问题。君子之交追求的是人我之间的和谐,它讲求克己复礼、自省修身,和而不同、求同存异,重义轻利、仁义忠信,是传统人际交往的理想状态。在高校学生宿舍倡导“君子之交”旨在引导学生从行为、语言、情感上加强内在修养,在思想统一、权益分配、纪律遵守上达成共识,从而建立和谐的宿舍人际关系。

At present,the interpersonal relationship in college dormitories is facing the problems of“management vacuum”in terms of system,“individual independence”in terms of students’origin,and“intricacy”in terms of relations.The gentleman’s friendship pursues the harmony between man and himself.It emphasizes self-restraint,self-examination and self-cultivation,harmony but difference,seeking common ground while reserving differences,emphasizing righteousness over benefit,benevolence,righteousness and loyalty.It is the ideal state of traditional interpersonal communication.The purpose of advocating“gentleman’s friendship”in college dormitories is to guide students to strengthen their inner self-cultivation in behavior,language and emotion,and to reach consensus on ideological unity,rights and interests distribution and discipline compliance,so that they could establish harmonious dormitory interpersonal relationship.
