An Early-sprouting and Elite New Tea Cultivar—'Zhongcha 602'

摘要 中茶602是从云台山群体种后代中经单株选拔—扦插扩繁—品比试验—区域试验系统选育而成的适制绿茶新品种。品比和区域试验结果表明,中茶602属早生种,产量较高;制烘青绿茶外形细紧、披毫、嫩绿鲜润,汤色浅嫩绿、较清澈明亮,香气嫩(栗)香持久,滋味甘鲜嫩爽,叶底多芽、匀齐、嫩绿明亮。春季第一轮一芽二叶2年平均含茶多酚18.0%、氨基酸4.2%、咖啡碱3.5%、儿茶素12.4%、水浸出物48.2%。抗寒、抗旱性较强。适宜在重庆、贵州、四川、湖南及气候相似地区种植。中茶602于2020年通过农业农村部非主要农作物新品种登记,登记编号:GPD茶树(2020)330025。 'Zhongcha 602'is a new tea plant cultivar suitable for processing green tea,which is selected from'Yuntaishan Quntizhong'natural hybrid offspring and bred by systematic selection including the processes of single plant selection,cutting propagation,strain comparison,and regional adaptation experiment.The results show that'Zhongcha 602'is an early-sprouting cultivar with high yield.The baked green tea had wiry,tippy and tender green bloom appearance,light pale-green,clear and bright liquor color,lasting tender(chestnut)aroma,umami with sweet and tender brisk taste,and uniform,tender green and bright infused leaves.Based on the first round picking in three years,the average content of tea polyphenols,amino acids,caffeine,catechins and water extracts in one bud and two leaves were 18.0%,4.2%,3.5%,12.4%and 48.2%respectively.'Zhongcha 602'also showed strong cold and drought tolerance,and might be suitable for planting in Chongqing,Guizhou,Sichuang,Hu'nan and other areas with similar climate condition.It was registered by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in 2020 with the registration No.GPD tea plant(2020)330025.
