我国是世界上水情最为复杂、治水任务最为繁重的国家,水利承担着保障人民生命财产安全和经济社会持续健康发展的重大使命,在支撑城镇化发展、脱贫攻坚以及区域发展等方面发挥着不可替代的重要作用。随着“十四五”拉开序幕,我国迈入向第二个百年奋斗目标进军的新发展阶段,水利在建设更高水平的平安中国、构建新发展格局、实施国家重大发展战略、推动绿色发展等诸多领域承担更艰巨任务,也将发挥更重要作用。

Encountered with the most complicated water regime,China shoulders the most onerous tasks of water governance comparing with other countries.Water management has long been committed to a mission of ensuring the safety of people's lives and property and sustainable and healthy economic and social development,as water plays an irreplaceable role in supporting urban development,poverty alleviation and regional development.Along with the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan,China shall enter a new stage of development towards the second Centennial goal.Water management may undertake more arduous tasks and will play a more critical role in such fields as high-level security,the creation of a new development pattern,the implementation of national strategies and green development.
