In recent years,the biological risks of globally emerging infectious diseases,bioterrorism,and biological invasion are increasing.The situation of the prevention and control of infectious diseases is not optimistic;indeed,the biosafety situation is facing severe challenges.To strengthen biosafety support and promote scientific research,the First Global Biosafety Symposium in 2018 was held on July 27,2018 in Beijing.
