The Road of Poverty Alleviation with Chinese Characteristics in the Process of Common Prosperity

新中国成立以来,中国共产党领导全国人民持续向贫困宣战,取得了举世瞩目的减贫成就。特别是新时代脱贫攻坚战取得重大胜利,解决了困扰中华民族几千年的绝对贫困问题,为全面建成小康社会奠定了基础,为全球减贫事业作出重大贡献,走出了一条中国特色减贫道路。这条道路基本形成于新中国成立特别是改革开放到十八大之前的长期实践探索,丰富发展于新时代脱贫攻坚战。这条道路呈现了多重历史世界意义,将沿着党的十九届五中全会做出的“巩固拓展脱贫攻坚成果”决策部署继续前进。

Since the foundation of new China,the Communist Party of China has led Chinese nation to declare war on pov-erty,and made an achievement of poverty alleviation attracting worldwide attention.Specially,the big victory of anti-pover-ty war in the new era has resolved absolute poverty problems plaguing Chinese people for thousands of years,laid solid foundation for building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects,made great contribution to global poverty reduction,and generated a road of poverty alleviation with Chinese characteristics.This road has been formed during long-term prac-tice exploration since the foundation of new China especially the period from implementation of the reform and opening-up to the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,enriched and developed in the anti-poverty war in the new era.This road has presented multiple worldwide historic meaning,and will be continuously extended by obeying deci-sions of consolidating and expanding poverty alleviation fruit,which was decided in the Fifth Plenary Session of the Nine-teenth Communist Party of China Central Committee.
