An introduction was made on the general information of the water-saving irrigation project in the Daxu Town area of Guigang City,based on which the author analyzed the existing problems of the farmland water conser⁃vancy works in this area such as engineering water shortage,channel having low integrity rate and insufficient dis⁃charge capacity,aging works etc.;demonstrated main components of the water-saving irrigation project including anti-seepage reinforcement of channel and construction of small water source works;put forward the mode of proj⁃ect management;and analyzed the economic benefits of the project.
