A semi-automatic TIPTIG welding process is introduced.Two kinds of welding wires were used in TIPTIG welding of CRA825 clad pipe joints,then non-destructive test and mechanical properties and intergranular corrosion tests were carried out and the good engineering performance of the welded joints was verified.The main points and advantages of TIPTIG welding in long CRA825 pipeline welding were introduced.The results show that semi-automatic TIPTIG welding can significantly improve welding efficiency and obtain welding joints with excellent performance in long distance pipeline construction.
