KWS1553 is bred by KWS SAAT SE.The self-selected lines"KW4 R1002"and"KW7 X7009"are the female and male parent,respectively.This variety has the characteristics of good yield potential,fast dehydration,and high-quality commercial grains.This article introduces the parent source and breeding process of KWS1553,summarizes the characteristics,yield performance and key points of cultivation techniques of it and provides references for the popularization and application of the variety.
