A Description of Gejia Dialect of Miao Language in Halong Village of Huangping County

通过从语音、词汇、语法三方面来描写黄平革家语的概况,发现它声母较发达,韵母较简单,有前缀,无中、后缀,借词丰富,固有词造的新词较少,量词可以重叠,因此革家语属苗瑶语中的一种语言。

Through making a outline of Gejia dialect of Miao language from the three aspects of pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar in Huangping county,it is found that it has a more initial and a simple final.The Gejia dialect has a lot of grammar features such as having a prefix but no infix and suffix,rich loanwords and less new words made by inherent words,reduplication of quantifier,etc.
