This paper first introduces the concept of Expressway Electromechanical project,finds out the hidden problems in the design process through research,and proposes specific optimization measures for the design of monitoring system in the joint design of mechanical and electrical engineering based on the background of canceling provincial boundary toll station in Tianjin,and finally summarizes the importance of joint design of mechanical and electrical engineering and the effective measures to improve the design level. It is hoped that it can be a reference for similar optimization projects.
