Through the discussion of project experience and research results, the type test method and content of platform screen door prototype for intercity rail transit were determined. It includes structure performance test, system function test, million times accelerated life test and EMC test. Through the test, it is confirmed that the prototype can meet the design requirements, which provides technical support for subsequent mass production. The type test of platform screen door prototype, especially the system function test and EMC test, has practical reference value for the design and inspection of platform screen door in intercity rail transit.
