摘要
目的研究具有干细胞样特征的CD44^+/CD24^(-/low)细胞群在不同分子亚型乳腺癌组织中的分布水平及临床意义。方法采用双标免疫组化在199例乳腺癌组织中同时检测CD44、CD24的表达情况,分析CD44、CD24在不同分子亚型乳腺癌组织中的表达差异及其与临床病理特征及预后的相关性。结果CD44、CD24分别在Luminal A型(82.5%)和HER2过表达型(69.0%)乳腺癌组织中阳性率较高;CD44^+/CD24^(-/low)表型与患者年龄(P=0.0444)、有无淋巴结转移(P=0.0377)相关。结论CD44在Luminal A型乳腺癌组织中高表达,CD24在不同分子亚型乳腺癌组织中表达无差异;CD44^+/CD24^(-/low)表型在不同分子亚型乳腺癌组织中表达无差异,与乳腺癌患者淋巴结转移密切相关,是独立于乳腺癌分子分型之外的影响乳腺癌淋巴结转移的因素。
Objective To investigate the distribution of CD44^+/CD24^-/lowcells in different molecular subtypes of breast cancer tissues and its clinical significance.Methods The expression of CD44 and CD24 in 199 breast cancer tissues was simultaneously detected by double-staining immunohistochemistry.The association of CD44 and CD24 expression in different molecular types of breast cancer tissues with clinical pathological characteristics and prognosis was analyzed.Results The positive rates of CD44 and CD24 were higher in breast cancer tissues of subtypes Luminal A(82.5%)and HER2 overexpression(69.0%),respectively.The phenotype of CD44^+/CD24^-/lowwas associated with patient age(P=0.0444),and the presence of lymph node metastasis(P=0.0377).Conclusions CD44 is highly expressed in breast cancer tissues of type Luminal A.No statistical difference was found in CD24 expression among different molecular subtypes of breast cancer tissues.There was no statistical difference in CD44^+/CD24^-/lowphenotype among different molecular subtypes of breast cancer tissues.Meanwhile,CD44^+/CD24^-/lowis closely associated with lymph node metastasis,which suggests that CD44^+/CD24^-/lowis an influencing factor of lymph node metastasis independent of the molecular types of breast cancer.
