百里香精油在化妆品中的应用研究进展

Research Progresses on Application of Thyme Essential Oil in Cosmetics

百里香精油是天然无毒且富含生物活性物质的植物提取物,具备芬香、抑菌和抗氧化等可应用于化妆品的突出功效。但其是一种挥发性油,难溶于水,易受到光、氧气、湿度和温度的影响,又限制了其在化妆品的应用。论文综述了百里香精油的常用提取方式以及主要化学成分,总结了百里香精油的赋香与抗焦虑、美白、保湿、祛痘抗炎、防晒与抗衰老和护发等应用于化妆品的基本功效,论述了四种百里香精油在化妆品中应用的关键技术,如微胶囊、纳米胶囊、微乳液和纳米乳等技术,旨在为百里香精油在化妆品领域中的应用提供理论参考。

Thyme essential oil is a natural, non-toxic and bioactive plant extract, which has fragrance, antibacterial and antioxidant abilities, and it can be applied in cosmetics industry. However, with high volatile and water-insoluble properties, thyme essential oil is restricted to the cosmetics industry, and it is susceptible to light, oxygen, humidity and temperature. This paper summarizesd the common extraction method and main chemical components of thyme essential oil, and the thyme essential oil’s fragrance, anti-anxiety, whitening and moisturizing, acne removing, anti-inflammatory, sunscreen, anti-aging and hair care effect when applied in cosmetics industry. In addition, this paper discusseds the four key technologies of processing thyme essential oil in cosmetic industry, such as microcapsule, nano-capsule, micro-emulsion and nanoemulsion, furthermore, which will provide a theoretical reference for the application of thyme essential oil in cosmetics.
