摘要
经典图书的诞生是作者、出版者、读者各方利益相关者在国家、市场、社会场景中互动协作的产物。《启蒙运动的生意》《最危险的书》这些图书的传记在对由经典图书所建构的社会网络进行研究时,横向维度的"国家—市场—社会"和纵向维度的"作者—出版者—读者"是出版史研究的两种书写框架。在这两种书写框架中有一个共同的参与者即出版者。出版者将国家与社会进行横向联结,将作者与读者进行纵向联结,它处于图书所建构的社会协作网络中的枢纽位置。在经典图书的出版史书写中凸显作为居间者的出版者的主体性以及来自出版者的辐射式书写,有助于以点带面勾连其他出版协作者,呈现出版史书写的全景式知识图景。
Classic books are born out of the interaction and collaboration of various stakeholders, including authors, publishers and readers, in the national, market and social scenarios. When studying the social networks constructed by classic books, The Business of the Enlightenment and The Most Dangerous Book wrote about the research on the publishing history under two kinds of frameworks, i.e. the horizontal dimension "country-market-society" and the vertical dimension "author-publisher-reader". Both frameworks shared the same participant—publishers that were at the center of the social collaboration networks constructed by books by connecting the country and society horizontally, and authors and readers vertically. Highlighting the subjectivity of the publishers as an intermediary and the publishers’ stimulating role in the writing of the classic book publishing history is helpful to join other parties playing a role in publishing in presenting a panoramic knowledge picture of the writing of publishing history.
