中国古代桃胶略考

A Brief Study on Peach Gum in Ancient China

中国古代使用桃胶的时间较早,根据《汉武帝内传》,距今2000多年前的西汉,就已经有了桃胶作为药引子的记载。然自汉迄明清,无论是官方还是民间,随着对桃胶认识的加深,其应用的范围也日益广泛。该文通过查阅古籍文献及相关研究,从史学的角度,对桃树的地理分布、桃胶所涉及的文化及桃胶的应用等方面略予考释。

Peach gum was used relatively early in ancient China.According to"Stories of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty",there were records of peach gum as a medicinal ingredient in the Western Han Dynasty more than 2000 years ago.However,from the Han Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties,whether it is official or non-governmental,with the deepening of understanding of peach gum,its application range has become more and more extensive.In this paper,by consulting ancient documents and related research,from a historical perspective,the geographical distribution of peach trees,the culture and application of peach gum are briefly studied.
